It probably looks familiar to you, after a few years you are completely tired of the kitchen! A kitchen is not really a part of the house that you regularly replace, so what now? Often times the kitchen layout is fine and you are just ready for a different look. We have tried several things and have finally come up with a list of different tips to give your kitchen a boost. These are small tips that cost little to no money and immediately give your entire kitchen a luxurious look. Apply a few tips for a slight change. Are you ready for a major makeover? 1. Light colors
By using light colors in the kitchen, it feels both more spacious and luxurious. Do you have a dark kitchen now? No problem! For example, paint the walls in your kitchen a lot lighter than they are now and you will immediately see the result. This works especially well when your kitchen is not very spacious. Do you have an open kitchen? Implement this tip, for example, in the dining room. A light dining room color also immediately feels spacious. Are you handy? Sand your current dining table and paint it white!
2. Handles
You probably never thought about it consciously, but what kind of handles does your kitchen have? By taking a closer look and adjusting them, you can change the entire look of your kitchen in an instant. Do you like the material of your current handles? Then spray them in a different color! Or dare to experiment with other shapes and materials. For example, you have beautiful handles made of leather or chic handles in a matte black look. Good lighting is extremely important in the kitchen. A lot of times you have your back to the natural light and it can be very dark. Good lighting is essential for safety. But light in the kitchen does not just have to be functional. By paying attention to decorative light in your kitchen, the room immediately appears very luxurious. 4. Artwork
You hardly ever see it, a work of art in the kitchen, but why not? A work of art makes every room special, including the kitchen. Go for big! This makes the room seem much larger than it actually is. 5. Kitchen cabinets
Often when we think that a kitchen needs to be completely replaced, the interior is actually still good. The outside may be damaged or you are tired of it, but that doesn’t mean that the entire kitchen needs to be renewed! Are you ready for a new look, change the doors of the kitchen cabinets! This makes it seem like you have a completely different kitchen. Are new cabinets outside your budget? Then you can always have them wrapped! 6. Replace decoration
Do you have a number of items in your kitchen that you are tired of or that do not match the new look you are looking for? Then replace them with other modern pieces. Do you have a boring fruit bowl? 7. Replace the faucet
Do you also have a standard faucet? Did you know that there are many different models available for these? If you just like the standard silver color, there are still many options. So you have special shapes, both very modern and classic. Would you like it a bit more extreme? How about a gold, bronze, or brass faucet? When you replace your standard faucet with a special one, this takes the entire kitchen to a higher level. Combine this with our earlier tip about the handles. Black faucet? Black handles. Golden faucet? Golden handles. You will see that this gives a beautiful effect!
8. Hide your appliances
A luxury kitchen looks spacious and is therefore not completely full. An easy way to make your kitchen look a lot fancier is to hide separate appliances as much as possible. Do you use your coffee machine every day? Then you really don’t have to hide it in a cabinet. But do you hardly ever drink tea? Or do you actually only use that sandwich toaster once a week? Then store it neatly. This way you have more workspace and your kitchen immediately looks a lot tighter.
